About the Company: for a global player in water treatment solutions for the Oil & Gas and Energy sector., our Recruitment Engineers are looking for a PLC Specialist.
Core Responsibilities:
- Providing remote and field technical support during commissioning for set and start up plant control system in close cooperation with process Engineers
- Monitoring the progress of site activities according to the schedule
- Providing technical support to the personnel at site
- Reviewing Client's requests ensuring timely response/assistance, identifying technical issues and performing troubleshooting
- Performing field instruments loop check during pre-commissioning phase with client
- Performing field PLC panel SAT with client (hardware tests with filed instruments and software logics tests with plant connected)
- Performing workshop PLC panel FAT with client (hardware tests and software simulated logics tests)
- Reviewing Client's technical documentation and requirements
- Preparation and reviewing of engineering documents (software/automation related)
- Reading and understanding of P&ID's, control narrative, sequence charts and interlock lists produced by process team
- Reading panel wiring diagrams, panel layouts, BOMs, etc.
- Preparation and reviewing of PLC logic based on process and automation documents to command and control the plant
