About the Company: For an Italian-Irish startup operating in the Cyber Intelligence field, our Recruitment Engineers are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer.
Core Responsibilities:
You’ll spend the majority of your time building, operating, and improving real systems: Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and deployment workflows. The goal is simple: make our environments reliable, observable, and boring — for developers and for customers.
- Own and operate Kubernetes-based environments across development, demo, and customer deployments
- Improve reliability, performance, and upgradeability of existing clusters and services
- Design and maintain deployment patterns that work in bare-metal and air-gapped environments
- Increase developer velocity by improving CI/CD, local dev workflows, and environment consistency
- Implement and evolve observability: metrics, logs, tracing, and alerting that people actually trust
- Debug production issues end-to-end, from application to infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with the CTO on platform architecture and operational standards
- Document decisions, deployment patterns, and operational practices so the platform scales with the team
