About the Company: for an innovative and digital company (Supply Chain), our Recruitment Engineers are looking for a Software Sales Engineer.

Core responsibilities:
  • Prospecting

    • Depending on the Marketing budget allocated by the Management, animate events and prospecting campaigns to generate Software opportunities in Italy.

    • Ensures local contact with the press and event organizers, in connection with the marketing department.

    • Animates a local network (Lobbying) with consulting firms for example.

  • Commercial offer management

    • Introduce the company, its products, its services by relying on the support of Pre-sales and Marketing Departments.

    • Respond to calls for tenders in partnership with technical teams (architecture, expertise, product manager) and central pre-sale.

    • Coordinates relationship between the different business and technical expertise of the company.

    • Analyses needs and projects, proposes technical, resources and financial solutions.

    • Draft commercial proposals and ensure all phases of negotiation and the signing of the contract.

    • Is and remains the main contact of the customer for the commercial aspects, during his project and in the long term.

  • Customer portfolio development and management

    • Maintains the long-term customer relationship in order to optimize the quality of the service and anticipates customer requests, all in cooperation with the « installed base » Service.

    • Evolves customer contracts especially on the maintenance part.

    • Proposes communication actions with customers in relation with the marketing department.

  • Control of the activity / objectives

    • Provides monthly reporting to his/her Manager.

    • Guarantor of the level of incoming orders set each year with its line manager.

    • Guarantor of the respect of the margins of the established offers.

  • Business Intelligence & Marketing

    • Ensures the business Intelligence on the Italian market (sectoral and competitive).

    • Participates in the construction or development actions of our commercial tools.

Job requirements

Must have:
  • Solid experience (at least 4 years) as Sales Engineer

  • Good knowledge of WMS, TMS, POS, OMS, WES products

  • Fluent English

  • Fluent French
